- On Dec. 8, the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee hosted their annual fundraiser. The Bigger Together breakfast fundraiser is regularly held at The Music City Center. Raising Youth Voices celebrated the strides the organization has made this year to help and support young people. Officials from the group also outlined plans for the next year. (Williamson Source)
- A Franklin man holding weekly worship gatherings in public is in violation of local ordinances. Jeff Daniels has been preaching in Franklin Public Square every Saturday not for the last two and a half years. His events usually have around five people, and Daniels often sings worship music. Despite the violation of the ordinance, Daniels intends to continue his weekly sermons. (WKRN News 2)
- Two Franklin businesses and a Nashville Baptist Church helped spread holiday cheer to families in need this Saturday. Wesley Financial Group and Wesley Mortgage donated coats, hats, gloves, and toys to be distributed to local families in financial distress. The donations were delivered during the Church at Mt. Carmel's Christmas on Monroe. Besides the donations, there were also two trailers filled with food for the families! (WKRN News 2)
