  1. Brady Seals & Lua Crofts will be performing at the Franklin Theatre tomorrow, Nov. 3. The musical duo will be taking the stage at 8:00 p.m. for a performance of 70s-era rock. The duo is related to Jimmy Seals and Dash Crofts. Participants will be able to hear "Summer Breeze," "Get Closer," and "Diamond Girl" during the performance. Click for ticket information.   2. Franklin Parks will be hosting Family Day at Harlinsdale Farm on Saturday. There will be various family-friendly activities for participants. Guests will enjoy miniature train rides, hayrides, pony rides, and more. There will also be a Touch-a-Tractor area featuring small excavators and large tractors. (Williamson Homepage)
  3. The Williamson County Schools' Board of Education voted against an amendment to expand Policy 4.401. Many local residents voiced concerns during last week's meeting that the current policy restricts which residents can file complaints about board-approved educational materials. The Board voted 8-4 to keep the complaints to only current WCS parents/guardians, employees, or students. (Fox 17)
