  1. Leadership Franklin's Board of Directors has given the prestigious Caroline J. Cross Award to Franklin Special School District Board of Education Chair Robert Blair. The award is meant to recognize a local leader who exemplifies the values and lessons of Leadership Franklin. The award was first awarded in 2007.   2. A nostalgic Memphis eatery, Sun Diner, is expanding into Franklin with a ghost kitchen concept. The diner owned by iconic Sun Records serves its famous dishes through a delivery service operated by Franklin Junction. The Franklin location is the first location in a nationwide expansion project between the two entities. (Williamson Source)
  3. Family law attorney Connie Reguli was indicted by Williamson County District Attorney Kim Helper for aggravated perjury charges. Reguli surrendered herself to the Williamson County Sheriff's office on Friday morning after a warrant was issued for her arrest on Thursday. The new charges carry a possible sentence of 2 to 12 years in prison. (TN Tribune)
