  1. Franklin's 37th Annual PumpkinFest is scheduled for this Saturday, Oct. 29. There will be autumn-inspired food, drinks, activities, and music for participants. The downtown Franklin area will be completely engulfed in the festival. Don't forget your costume for the pet and family costume contest! (Williamson Homepage)
  2. Charter Senior Living of Franklin hosted a grand re-opening celebration last Thursday. The facility recently transitioned from "Morningside of Franklin" into Charter. The grand re-opening celebration included drinks, free food, and music. The facility employs more than 40 local residents. (williamsonherald.com)
  3. The Franklin Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Saturday, Oct. 22. The response included the Williamson County Rescue Squad, Williamson Fire-Rescue, and the Williamson County Emergency Management Agency. The fire was on Fernvale Road at Old Harding Road in a wooded area of Williamson County. Thankfully, no one was injured during the fire that consumed 38 acres. (WKRN)
