  1. A Williamson County native has been arrested in connection to a homicide investigation in Smyrna, TN. Kathryn Taylor has been charged with attempted aggravated robbery and first-degree murder of Nicholas Patterson. Taylor is currently being held by Williamson County for charges related to a robbery that occurred earlier this year. (Williamson Source)
  2. Franklin's Board of Mayor and Aldermen are discussing a potential development for the Goose Creek Basin area. The focus of the discussion is the area's 2,500 acres. The land and infrastructure study indicates that seven new interactions will be needed for new development in the area. The transportation costs alone will be about $217 million. The net fiscal impact will be between $135 million and $143 million. (williamsonherald.com)
  3. A winning lottery ticket was sold in Franklin. The Tennessee Lottery reports the ticket was sold at the Murfreesboro Road Kroger and the winner has won $50,000. The winner's identity has not been released to the public. The Powerball lottery continues to grow in Tennessee with the possible winnings currently at $1.2 billion. (Williamson Homepage)
