Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:
- The City of Franklin will be honoring all veterans during its Veterans' Day Parade on Friday. The parade is a joint effort between the city and WAKM AM-950. The parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. sharp at West Main and Fifth Avenue. There will be marching bands, JROTC units, student groups, and more participating in the parade. Click for more information. - Williamson County has the highest average gas price in Tennessee. The state's average is currently $3.25 per gallon. Williamson County's average is currently $4.57 per gallon. Tennessee remains the sixth least expensive state to purchase gasoline. (WGNSRadio)
- Today (Nov. 8) is Election Day in Williamson County. The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. All voters must present a federal or state photo ID to cast a ballot.
