  1. The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County will be hosting the 37th Annual Dickens of a Christmas event on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11. Dickens of a Christmas is when downtown Franklin transforms into a Victorian-themed outdoor street festival. The popular event typically attracts about 100,000 guests each year.   2. Williamson County residents will be participating in the Walk to END Epilepsy today at Harvey Park in Spring Hill. The Epilepsy Foundation of East Tennessee and Middle Tennessee is sponsoring the event. According to the foundation, almost 74,000 Tennessee residents live with epilepsy. The walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. (Williamson Source)
  3. Former Maury County Mayor Andy Ogles will be representing Tennessee's fifth Congressional District. The district includes parts of Williamson County. Ogles defeated Democratic state Senator Heidi Campbell for the seat by more than 10 percentage points. Tennessee's congressional House delegation has eight Republicans and one Democrat. (JDSUPRA)
