Drunken South Carolinian Hits Franklin Starbucks Patron: Police
A South Carolina man allegedly hit a pedestrian outside the Franklin Starbucks with his car Sunday.
FRANKLIN, TN -- Franklin Police charged a 70-year-old South Carolina man with DUI and vehicular assault after he allegedly hit a pedestrian with his car outside the Cool Springs Starbucks Sunday.
At 9:15 Sunday night, Franklin Police arrived at the coffee shop to find a 54-year-old seriously injured in the parking. Witnesses said he was hit by a car driven by 70-year-old Frank Swinehart of Ft. Mill, S.C..
The pedestrian remains in critical condition.

Swinehart is free on $15,000 bond and is due in court Dec. 14.
