🌱 Early Morning Fire + Sister City Delegation Arrives In Franklin

Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:
- The Franklin Fire Department reported an early morning fire displaced two residents yesterday. The incident occurred shortly before 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the Del Rio Commons Community on Alexander Drive. The department's crews were able to contain the fire before it was able to spread to adjoining homes. The department's investigators are working to determine the fire's cause. (WKRN News 2)
- The 49th Heritage Ball in Franklin drew a crowd of 870 guests. The event was hosted by the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County on Saturday night at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park. The event's purpose is to raise funds for the Franklin area's historic preservation efforts. (The Tennessean)
- The delegation from Franklin's sister city, Bad Soden, Germany, has arrived. The city and the delegation participated in a formal ceremony on Monday at City Hall to recognize German Reunification Day. Franklin Mayor Ken Moore and various local officials attended the ceremony to give speeches. The two cities have shared a bond since 2016. (Williamson Herald)
