  1. The Franklin Fire Department's Family Safety House has started traveling to local classrooms again. The program has been a Franklin staple since 2005; the COVID-19 pandemic suspended the program for 2020 and 2021. This interactive, educational trailer teaches local students about fire safety. 2. A crash in Williamson County shut down Lewisburg Pike for about an hour. The incident involved three vehicles and resulted in multiple injuries. It occurred near Critz Lane and blocked both northbound and southbound lanes. As of Monday afternoon, the Williamson County Sheriff's Office has not released additional information. (WKRN)
  3. Williamson Inc.'s latest Policy Talks of 2022 included former Williamson County Sherriff Jeff Long. He spoke with Col. Matt Perry of the state's Highway Patrol about law enforcement careers and community safety. The pair highlighted the high number of traffic fatalities that have occurred in Tennessee this year. According to Long, one of the biggest factors is distracted driving. (Williamson Herald)
