Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:
- The Williamson County Sheriff's Office reports that one individual was killed during a fatal crash on Murfreesboro Road. The crash occurred on Monday night. The department and the Tennessee Highway Patrol shut down the road in both directions to investigate the crash. The road was closed for several hours. (WSMV.com)
- Franklin High School has been included on a list of the best public high schools in Tennessee. The list was compiled by Niche, a site that forms ratings based on quantitative data provided by students, parents, and alumni. Franklin High School was placed in the eighth spot on the list. The first spot was Hume-Fogg Academic Magnet School in Nashville. (WKRN)
- Williamson County EMS is part of an ambulance strike team deployed to Florida. The team will be deployed for 14 days to provide specialized support for Hurricane Ian's impact.
