  1. Franklin's Peter Alderman has published a new book. "The Good Man" is a novelette meant for high-school-aged students and is available for purchase online. He has authored many children's books after teaching for 37 years. His new book will be in physical book stores soon. (Williamson Herald)
  2. Highland Ventures Ltd. will be moving its headquarters to Williamson County. The Illinois-based company will be relocating to 209 Powell Place in Brentwood. The company's relocation will create 80 new jobs in the county over the next five years. The move is estimated to cost $8.2 million. (Area Development)
  3. The investigation into a chaotic Williamson County Schools board meeting is officially closed. The viral video of the incident showed protestors against masks threatening and intimidating mask-wearing community members. No charges were filed through the investigation. The case was quietly closed with the Home Page learning about the closure through an open records request last month. According to the report, the investigation was closed in December 2021.
