  1. The Tennessee Department of Transportation will be reopening all five lanes of Franklin Road today (Nov. 23) at noon. The reopening news was confirmed by a City of Brentwood engineer.   2. Shop Small Saturday will be on Nov. 26 on Franklin's Main Street. The Downtown Franklin Association is encouraging the community to participate. The event is meant to raise awareness for local small businesses and to celebrate shopping locally. There will be free transportation with the Hop & Shop Trolley during the event from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (williamsonherald.com)
  3. The owners of Franklin Gun Shop have pleaded to obstruction of justice charges in U.S. District Court. Alan Hassler, 49 years old, Brian Hassler, 52 years old, and Michael Hassler, 45 years old, also pleaded guilty to making false entries regarding the disposition of firearms.
