Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:

1. The City of Franklin has announced the temporary closure of Franklin Road's southbound lanes has ended. The construction project's completion was ahead of schedule by a couple of days. The lanes have been closed since Sep. 6 for roadway grading and paving. (Press Release Desk)
2. The Franklin Police Department is offering a cash reward for information about an individual who cashed fraudulent checks. The individual was recorded on surveillance footage attempting to cash the checks at a Franklin area bank. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. (Williamson Source)
3. Franklin Transit will be offering rides to the Pilgrimage Music & Culture Festival for one dollar. The shuttle rides will be running between Liberty Elementary School and The Factory at Franklin.
