  1. The City of Franklin has announced the temporary closure of Franklin Road's southbound lanes has ended. The construction project's completion was ahead of schedule by a couple of days. The lanes have been closed since Sep. 6 for roadway grading and paving. (Press Release Desk)
  2. The Franklin Police Department is offering a cash reward for information about an individual who cashed fraudulent checks. The individual was recorded on surveillance footage attempting to cash the checks at a Franklin area bank. Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers. (Williamson Source)
  3. Franklin Transit will be offering rides to the Pilgrimage Music & Culture Festival for one dollar. The shuttle rides will be running between Liberty Elementary School and The Factory at Franklin. The shuttles will only be accepting payment in the form of cash.
