Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. Realtor.com has published its Fall list of Top 20 Emerging Housing Markets, and Franklin was ranked 13th on the list. The report compared housing markets on unemployment rates, population, median home listing price, local economies, and lifestyle features. The list highlighted Franklin's average length of time a home is listed on the market, which equaled 31 days. (Realtor.com)
  2. One of the best ways to experience fall foliage in franklin is with a hot air balloon ride. Franklin's Middle Tennessee Hot Air Adventures was included in a recent list of the best unique ways to see fall foliage.   3. A former Williamson County state representative has been arrested. Jeremy Durham was arrested in downtown Nashville on Saturday on DUI, resisting arrest, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia charges. He had dilated pupils and was slurring his speech, according to the arresting officer. He was expelled from the state House in September 2016. (WBIR)
