- The Franklin Fire Department is offering free car seat check-ups on Sep. 29. The event is open to the public and will be at 301 High Hopes Court from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The check-ups will be conducted by technicians with advanced certifications. The check-ups will be performed on a first-come, first-served basis. (Press Release Desk)
- The Franklin Police Department is searching for a suspect who stole an expensive bronze dog statue. The statue is valued at $2,900 and was stolen from the Winchester Antique Mall. The department has released the surveillance footage in the hopes that the community might have some information. A cash reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. (WSMV 4)
- A 3-month undercover operation by the Williamson County Sheriff's Office has resulted in the seizure of 2 pounds of cannabis, an ounce of fentanyl, two guns, and $2,500 in cash. The department carried out a search warrant on a home after making three undercover buys with a drug dealer. The search warrant was carried out on Tuesday morning. (WSMV)
