  1. The Franklin High School Homecoming Parade will be on Friday, Sept. 30. The parade will start at 9:30 a.m. The staging area will be from the intersection of 11th Ave N & Fair St. to the intersection of W Main St. & 5th Ave S. The parade will march through Bicentennial Park and end on 5th Ave. N. Click for the parade's full map. (City of Franklin)
  2. The Franklin Fire Department will be hosting its Firefighter Graduation & Badge Pinning Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 30 at 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center on Everbright Avenue. The entire community is invited to attend. The ceremony will be recorded and posted at a later date but the event will not be live-streamed. (City of Franklin)
  3. The Williamson County Commission has declared Sept. 16 as The Honorable Judge Jim Martin Day. The day is meant to celebrate and recognize the career of Judge James G. Martin. He was presented with a special proclamation signed by both legislators and Gov. Bill Lee during the celebration at Carnton. (Williamson Herald)
