  1. A house cleaner accused of stealing nearly $100,000 in jewelry from various homes in Middle Tennessee has been arrested. Cinthya Navarro Rodriguez, 28, stands accused of stealing from clients across Franklin, Nashville, Brentwood, and Spring Hill. The cleaning company, who fired Rodriguez amid the accusations, informed police of additional instances where she allegedly touched jewelry boxes and looked around for surveillance cameras in clients' homes.   2. In a joint meeting Thursday, the city's Board of Mayor and Aldermen and the municipal planning commission discussed amending Envision Franklin to build an arts district around The Factory at Franklin. In addition to new restaurants, entertainment, and shops, the proposed neighborhood would also include better walkability and increased diversity of housing. BOMA reportedly plans to review the proposed amendment further in January. (williamsonherald.com)
  3. City Administrator Eric Stuckey spoke to a packed house at Franklin Tomorrow's most recent FrankTalks. Stuckey addressed the crowd at Columbia State Community College to review data and lessons from 2022 while looking ahead to a bright 2023.
