Here are the top three stories today in Franklin:
- The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that Williamson County is currently at a "low" community level. Under this designation, residents are encouraged to stay up to date on COVID-19 vaccines while seeking testing if symptoms occur. The county had previously been listed as a "medium" community level since Sep. 21. (Williamson Source)
- Contemporary Christian Music Legend John Chisum & Friends will be hosting a benefit performance at the historic Franklin Theatre. - Williamson County Emergency Management Agency will be launching a new Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster Program on Oct. 19. The 7:00 p.m. meeting is open to all local volunteer groups.
