‘Misunderstanding’ Led To Franklin Bus Stop Encounter: Police
Franklin Police said a "misunderstanding" was behind Tuesday's incident at a school bus stop.

FRANKLIN, TN -- Franklin Police now say an incident at a school bus stop Tuesday was a misunderstanding.
Tuesday afternoon, police there sent a notice asking for help identifying a man who rolled down the window of his car on Edgewood Boulevard and called to a 12-year-old girl, asking her to "come here." The girl ignored the man, went inside her home and told her mother what happened.
The girl’s mother then looked outside and saw the man getting out of his car where other neighborhood children were gathered, according to police. As she took photos, the man got back into his car and left the area.
