🌱 Medical Center Adds New Vehicle + Blackouts Affect Nashville Area

Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. Williamson Medical Center in Franklin announced that it is adding a new Mass Casualty AmbuBus to its vehicle fleet. The AmbuBus can transport multiple people at a time in the case of a situation needing mass evacuation or an incident with mass casualties. (Williamson Source)
  2. On Friday morning, there were more than 38,000 power outages in the neighboring Nashville area. Nashville Electric Service said the outages were due to high winds and overnight precipitation that caused power poles to break and damage equipment. (WZTV)
  3. Snowfall has left dangerous road conditions across Middle Tennessee in time for the Christmas weekend. A wind chill advisory will be in effect until Saturday at noon with temperatures ranging anywhere between -5 and -15 degrees Fahrenheit. It is likely the area will stay below freezing through Monday for a total of 84 hours. (WKRN News 2)
