  1. Highwoods Properties Inc. has partnered with Toro Development Co. and Ignite Realty Partners to build a 145-acre "mixed-use village" in Franklin. Highwoods Properties Inc. will be developing the site's office portion. Toro Development Co. will be building the 60-acre retail, apartments, and hospitality sector. Ignite Realty Partners will act as the development's leasing agent. The development project is titled "Ovation." (Biz Journals)
  2. The Franklin Police Department is asking the community for help in identifying an auto burglary suspect. The individual was caught on store surveillance footage using credit cards that were stolen during the auto burglaries. There is a cash reward available for information.   3. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics has released a report detailing the largest increases in employment across the country. According to the report, the Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin area has increased its employment by over six percent during the last year. The data is not seasonally adjusted.
