'More Questions Than Answers': Man Shot Dead In Franklin Driveway
A 37-year-old Columbia man was found shot dead in a Franklin driveway early Wednesday morning.

FRANKLIN, TN — A man was found shot dead in a Franklin driveway early Wednesday morning and police there say they have "more questions than answers" as the investigation gets underway.
The body of 37-year-old Devillas Dodson was discovered around 2 a.m. Wednesday in a Chestnut Lane driveway. First responders attempted CPR, but Dodson was declared dead on the scene. Dodson, who lives in Columbia, is a former Franklin resident who police say was familiar with the residents and the neighborhood. The death is being investigated as a homicide.

No suspect was identified, nor was a weapon recovered, but police said there is no on-going threat to the public and detectives were questioning residents of the home where Dodson was discovered.
Franklin Police are asking anyone in the area with home surveillance cameras to check their recordings for anything that might help with the investigation. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads police to Dodson’s killer.
