- Franklin's Karen Kingsbury will be filming a movie in Franklin. The film will be for her book "Someone Like You" which was released in 2020. Her new production company titled Karen Kingsbury Productions will be directing the creative process of the film. Crews will begin filming the movie in downtown Franklin next week. - The Franklin Theatre will be celebrating Halloween by screening some spooky movies. Today, the theatre will be screening The Addams Family at 10:00 a.m. The Birds will be screened on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. On Monday, Oct. 31, the theatre will be screening The Rocky Horror Picture Show at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Click to view the full movie schedule. - Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson will be hosting a conversation on broadband access on Tuesday, Oct. 15.
