- A new Chipotle restaurant is opening in Franklin, and it's bringing along an exciting new feature. This won't be the first Chipotle in town, but it will be the first one in Franklin to have a Chipotlane. This drive-thru pickup lane lets customers get their digital orders without having to leave their cars. The new location will open today, Dec. 6, at 5041 Carothers Pkwy. (Williamson Source)
- On Saturday night, Franklin police brought an end to a multi-state crime spree. Authorities were called to Jared Jewelers in Thoroughbred Village Shop Center after a clerk alerted them to a potential robbery. Undercover officers arrived to find the robbery in action, with the suspects using sledgehammers to break into the jewelry store. Upon arresting the suspects, authorities identified them as the culprits in five similar robberies across Tennessee and Arkansas. (Williamson Source)
- A new exercise franchise has opened its first Franklin location. HOTWORKS Franklin-West has more than 500 locations nationwide, and now they're bringing their health and wellness program to Franklin locals. The center focuses on infrared heat absorption fitness programs. This technique involves doing high-intensity interval training inside an infrared sauna to encourage sweating and detoxification of the body. The center is located on Hillsboro Road.
