Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

1. A new Chipotle location will be opening in Franklin on Carothers Parkway. The new location is currently under construction but the restaurant is hiring. All employees reportedly receive dental, medical, and vision insurance. Franklin has three other Chipotle restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The new location will reportedly open by early fall. 2. Fink's Jewelers will be expanding into Franklin next summer. This will be its second jewelry store in the state and its 12th nationwide. The new location will be at McEwen Northside in a 6,100-square-foot building. (Williamson Source)
3. Four Franklin students saved their teacher's life on the first day of school. Immanuel Barr, Ellen Grayson, Spencer King, and Drew Osteen quickly responded when they realized their teacher was having a seizure. The students credited their skills learned through the district's JROTC program. The four students were honored during the most recent Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting.
