- Franklin women have a new luxury coworking space available. The Sapphire Suite celebrated its official grand opening on Friday at its 1201 Liberty Pike location with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony. The space is specifically tailored to provide Franklin women with a beautiful area to achieve goals while building connections. Month-to-month memberships are available along with day passes. - The Franklin Special School District scored among the top percentage of Tennessee school districts in the 2021-2022 TCAP achievement tests. The district scored a Level 5 in science, a Level 5 in social studies, a Level 3 in literacy, and a Level 1 in math. The high scores are wonderful but the district is reportedly hoping to improve in the future. (Press Release Desk)
- The Department of Labor and Workforce Development reports that the state's unemployment rate remained unchanged through last month. This is the third consecutive month that the rate has held steady at 3.3 percent for the state. Franklin's unemployment rate was below the state average at 2.7 percent in June. It is unclear if Franklin's rate remained lower than the state's for July. The full July report will be released on Aug. 25. (Williamson Source)
