• Franklin unveiling statue of city's namesake founding father (wkrn.com) — Franklin residents can look forward to a new bronze Benjamin Franklin statue being unveiled downtown on January 17, 2026, near the Five Points post office. The ceremony, hosted by the NSDAR Old Glory Chapter at the Williamson County Archives and Museum, will include a military cake-cutting, birthday cake for attendees, and a Benjamin Franklin historical interpreter.
