- One person has been pronounced dead after a plane crash in Williamson County. The incident occurred off Old Smyrna Road and Banbury Crossing on Tuesday morning. The roads were closed by the Brentwood Police Department and will reopen sometime today. The crash caused power outages throughout the area after the plane struck multiple power lines. (WKRN News 2)
- Gray Line Tennessee has launched a new vintage trolley hop-on, hop-off tour in Franklin. The new service allows residents and tourists to experience Franklin at a self-determined pace. The trolley will be making 90-minute loops with over 50 points of interest. Participants can get on and off at five different stops. (Williamson Source)
- Downtown Franklin's McCreary's Irish Pub & Eatery has temporarily closed for renovations. The establishment shared the news with patrons through a social media post. According to McCreary's, the renovations will make the establishment more friendly, fabulous, and homey. The floors will be refinished and new coats of paint will be added during the renovation project. The reopening date is set for Monday, Oct. 24. (Williamson Source)
