- The Downtown Franklin Rotary Club will be hosting a chili cookoff during this year's PumpkinFest from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The chili cookoff will be in the Landmark Booksellers' parking lot on Main Street. This is the fifth time that the PumpkinFest has included a chili cookoff. Click for a list of participating teams. (Williamson Source)
- Tuesday morning's quarterly Breakfast with the Mayors featured a conversation about broadband internet access in the county's unincorporated areas. The discussion included United Communication's CEO, Middle Tennessee Electric's President, and Williamson County Mayor Rogers Anderson. According to the participants, about 3,000 county locations remain without high-speed internet connections, despite United's fiber installation project in 2021. Mayor Anderson claims that Williamson County is making progress in improving digital connectivity within the community. (Williamson Herald)
- The Franklin Police Department will be closing West Main Street and Fair Street for trick or treating on Monday. The roads will be closed from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The department hopes that the road closures will provide increased safety for the high volume of pedestrian activity.
