Here are the top three stories in Franklin today:

  1. Franklin Preservation Partners, a newly formed Tennessee LLC, has announced plans to purchase open space in the last undeveloped gateway into downtown Franklin. The purchase's purpose will be to "preserve what we have." The purchase will be for 61.8 acres at the juncture of Franklin Road and Mack Hatcher Parkway. (williamsonherald.com)
  2. Today's Franklin Art Scene will feature a wide range of artworks from a diverse selection of artists. Patrons will have the opportunity to interact with the artists while participating in the free art crawl. Some shops will be offering appetizers and drinks to patrons.   3. Tours with the Franklin Hop Trolley have begun. The big blue trolley is offering residents and guests the opportunity to "hop on, hop off" for a 90-minute tour of Franklin.
