  1. Franklin Mayor Ken Moore was one of the guests who joined in a charity fundraiser for the locally-headquartered Shalom Foundation. Overall, the fundraiser raised more than $15,000. (williamsonherald.com)
  2. Both of Nashville's new congressional representatives voted against codifying the Respect for Marriage Act. On Thursday, the U.S. House of Representatives voted 258-169-1. The act is set to codify the national recognition of same-sex marriages. (Nashville Post)
  3. Country music star LeAnn Rimes was forced to reschedule her planned show in nearby Nashville this weekend due to a bleed on her vocal cord. The show is scheduled for Apr. 8, 2023. (WZTV)
