- Pinchy's Lobster Co. has announced that it will be closing its Franklin The Factory location. The restaurant has operated at The Factory since 2017. The closure announcement was made through the restaurant's social media accounts. Pinchy's Lobster Co. will continue to offer catering and a food truck will be operating soon. (Williamson Source)
- Williamson County Sheriff's Office deputies located a domestic violence suspect hiding in a shed on Aug. 26. Joseph Lynch allegedly kicked in his mother's door in the College Grove community after threatening her. The deputies spent five hours tracking Lynch before ultimately discovering him in his own backyard shed. He has been charged with domestic assault and aggravated burglary. He is due to appear in court on Oct. 13. (WKRN)
- The Williamson County Soccer Association will be heading into the new fall 2022 season with facility upgrades at the Williamson County Soccer Complex in Franklin. The complex will feature three newly renovated outdoor fields. Bathrooms, picnic areas, and the clubhouse have been painted. According to the organization's new president, Todd Lee, the improvements are what the community deserves. (Tennessean)
