  1. Downtown Franklin Rotary is currently collecting team applications for its new Rollick & Roll Community Field Day event. It has been scheduled for Saturday, Sep. 17 at Fieldstone Park between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The event is meant to support the construction of Ellie G's Dream World, the city's first inclusive playground.   2. The Franklin Police Department is currently searching for three individuals that shoplifted a necklace from an antique mall. The incident occurred on 2nd Ave N. at Winchester Antique Mall. The individuals were caught on surveillance footage. The necklace is reportedly worth $1,300. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department. (Williamson Source)
  3. The construction worker that fell down a 27-foot hole is reportedly recovering. According to Williamson County Rescue Squad Fire Chief, the individual was attempting to set a ladder in the hole before falling forward. The incident is currently being investigated by the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration. It could take over a month for investigation results to be published. (WKRN)
