- The Franklin Police Department is searching for a man who brutally attacked a woman. The incident occurred early Saturday morning. The suspect, Julius Waters, 21, is driving a stolen white 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers. (WKRN)
- The Franklin Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire on the Ramsey Solutions campus that occurred on Thursday night. Crews were dispatched to the event center on Reams Fleming Boulevard around 9:20 p.m. The initial investigation indicates that the fire was an accident. The roof and an HVAC unit were damaged during the blaze. (Williamson Source)
- The annual Boy Scout Fall Camporee is scheduled for Sep. 10 at Franklin First United Methodist Church. There will be 56 active Cub Scout Packs, Venturing Crews, Sea Scout Ships, Scout Troops, and Exploring Posts attending the Camporee this year. The community is invited to attend the midway on Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (Williamson Source)
