Skimmer Suspect Sought By Franklin Police

Franklin Police are looking for man they say put skimmers on an ATM and who may be connected to other skimming schemes in Middle Tennessee.

FRANKLIN, TN -- Franklin detectives are searching for a man suspected of installing a skimming device on a bank ATM last week.

Police say bank employees discovered the skimmer, disabled and removed it before any accounts were compromised.

The vehicle and description of the man matches that of a man who installed a skimmer on the ATM at a Mt. Juliet First Tennessee Bank Friday. In that case, the man also attached a camera to capture PIN codes typed in by users. Despite the matching descriptions, police have not confirmed the cases are connected.
