- Todd Downing, the Tennessee Titans' Offensive Coordinator, has been arrested in Williamson County. The Williamson County Sheriff's Office reports that he was arrested by Tennessee Highway Patrol on DUI and speeding charges. He was booked into the Williamson County Jail before being bonded out on Friday morning. (News Channel 5)
- Williamson County will be holding its Budget Committee Meeting on Monday, Dec. 5, at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Williamson County Administrative Complex's Conference Room. Anyone in need of disability accommodation is asked to contact Risk Management at least three days before the meeting. (Williamson County)
- Franklin's Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt is scheduled for Dec. 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park. Participants are asked to bring a flashlight to the event. There will be treat bag decorating before the hunt with hot chocolate and cookies provided. Participants are encouraged to dress festively for the event.
