  1. As of yesterday (Dec. 28), Local Franklin Tree Service Experts will now operate on a 24-hour basis. The company reported that demands for services when the company is closed have increased in the last four months. (Digital Journal)
  2. A burst water pipe under the Cumberland River in nearby Nashville is reportedly leaking millions of gallons of water a day. Metro Water Services said they will need a contractor with a drone and a dive team to check the link next week. (WKRN News)
  3. New U.S. Census Bureau data showed that the population growth in Tennessee was the seventh-highest growth in the nation. The growth rate was also the eighth largest total in the state's history and larger than any total since 2007. (WZTV)
