- A house and a dog kennel caught fire in two separate incidents overnight in Williamson County. A firefighter was hurt at each of the scenes, but both were treated for minor injuries. The family of the house fire was displaced, and no animals were in the kennel fire at the time. (WZTV)
- The owners of nearby Beechwood Hall have responded to critics regarding the state of the 160-year-old historical property. The property owner and the Heritage Foundation in Williamson County addressed the controversy over the property and the steps they are taking to preserve its legacy. (Tennessean)
