- Franklin-based Williamson Medical Center is developing two decision support tools within its Meditech EHR system. The development project is a collaboration with health tech company EvidenceCare. The two support tools are meant to streamline the admission process for physicians while providing comparisons to locally benchmarked patients with the same condition. (Becker's Health IT)
- A group of Franklin residents are working together to preserve Beechwood Hall. The building is one of the most significant historic homes in the state. Beechwood Hall is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was previously owned by Hank Williams Sr, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. (PR Newswire)
- Williamson County officials have broken ground on a new pollinator habitat. The site is located in an empty field off Horton Highway. The land is directly below powerlines and next to a large solar facility owned and operated by Middle Tennessee Electric. The officials expect the site to be fully in bloom by the spring of 2023.
