Watch Hit-And-Run Driver Crash Into Franklin Police Cruiser
Franklin Police are searching for a driver who hit a police car and fled in an hit-and-run caught on tape.
FRANKLIN, TN -- A driver crashed into a Franklin Police cruiser during a traffic stop early Saturday night and then fled the scene.
A dark-colored Chevrolet hit the open door of a squad car as an officer was conducting a traffic stop at 5 p.m. near the Mallory Lane/McEwen Drive intersection Saturday.
The force of the crash slammed the door into the officer's leg. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and released.
