Beaucoup Belle Meade Businesses Burglarized

BELLE MEADE, TN — Burglars broke in to at least four businesses along Harding Pike in Belle Meade early Thursday.

Sperry’s Mercantile, bike shop Gran Fondo, Michaelangelo’s Pizza and Papa Murphy’s all had broken front windows when Metro Police arrived in the wee hours.

A cash register drawer was stolen from at least one of the businesses.

The robberies in Belle Meade were among a rash of smash-and-grabs that spread across Davidson County late Wednesday into Thursday. A Baskin-Robbins, Pizza Hut, Whitt's Barbecue and Jersey Mike's in Donelson were also hit, along with Germantown's Red Bicycle Coffee and Tempered Cafe & Chocolate.
