Lifted Spirits: Booze Burglars Heist Hooch
Metro Police are looking for men who stole thousands of dollars of alcohol from a Murphy Road liquor store in less than three minutes.
NASHVILLE, TN — Two men stole more than $2,000 in alcohol in less than three minutes from a Murphy Road liquor store early Friday morning, according to Metro Police.
Detectives say the men broke into Grand Cru Fine Wine & Spirits around 3:40 Friday morning by smashing out the front window with a sledgehammer.
After stealing several bottles of high-end liquor — total value: $2,200 — they drove away in a blue GMC Sonoma pick-up.

The two men are still at large and police are asking anyone who can help identify them call CrimeStoppers at 615-742-7463.
