Volunteer State Community College: Book Signing For Boy Scout Camp History

The Thigpen Library at Volunteer State Community College is hosting a presentation and book signing for a new book about the Boxwell Reservation Boy Scout camp in Wilson County. Author, Grady Eades, has titled it: “For the Good of the Program: A Century of Middle Tennessee Scouting at Boxwell 1921- 2021.” Eades is a History Professor at Vol State. The event will take place on February 22 starting at 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Books will be available for sale for $35. Payment methods include check, cash, or credit card. Volunteer State Community College is located at 1480 Nashville Pike in Gallatin. For more information call 615-230-3400.
