Volunteer State Community College: Vol State Anniversary And Welcome Lunch October 21

Volunteer State Community College is celebrating its 50 year anniversary this year and welcoming the new president of the college, Dr. Orinthia Montague. Everyone is invited for an outdoor lunch on Thursday, October 21 from Noon to 2:30 p.m. on the Gallatin campus.

The event will feature entertainment from Vol State student musicians and a special live edition of the radio talk show The Vol State Chat on WVCP-FM 88.5. Students and staff from the first year of the college will be guests on the show. The lunch will take place on the Thigpen Library Lawn with a tent in case of rain.
