Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday: Bellaire City Offices Closed, No Solid Waste Service
Officials announce revised schedule for trash pick-up, take day off for national observation

BELLAIRE, TX — Don't forget to leave your garbage in the garage — or at least don't take it to the curbside — on Monday, because there won't be any solid waste service that day.
The Bellaire government is observing Martin Luther King Day, in honor of the man who helped bring about major changes to the way Americans think about equal rights, and all city offices will be closed on Monday.
City officials have provided a chart (below) listing the holiday schedule for the different sections of Bellaire. Residents can call public works at 713-662-8170 with questions or consult the city's "Service Schedules" section.
