4 Charged With Kidnapping Child Outside Friendswood Daycare

FRIENDSWOOD, TX — Two men and two women are accused of kidnapping after they allegedly assaulted a grandfather and snatched a 3-year-old child from his arms. The incident happened in the parking lot of a daycare in the 1600 block of Friendswood Lakes Blvd.

Police said Chantay Solano Saldana, 22, Yahaira Arali Cornejo, 19, David Escobar, 19, and Alexandro Solano, 19, waited on the grandfather to arrive. According to Friendwood Police, the child was "ripped from his arms" by the four individuals, who fled in a Jeep.

Police later learned that one of the women is the child’s biological mother.

The police caught up with the Jeep at at Sunset and West Shadowbend. The child was found safe and returned to his family

All four suspects were charged with kidnapping, with their bonds each set at $5,000.
