  • Bay Glen Animal Hospital: The Bay Glen Animal Hospital serves pets all throughout Harris County, offering preventative care, an on-site pharmacy, boarding, pet education services, dietary counseling, life stage care and wellness plans. Appointment scheduling is available online as well as in person.


  • University of Houston-Clear Lake: The University of Houston-Clear Lake is more than a school; it's an educational resource for all members of the surrounding community, offering library catalogs and online journals for residents seeking an alternative to a trip to the library. The university prides itself on its selection of word-class degrees in 40 undergraduate fields of study as well as 45 graduate fields of study and a doctoral field of study. The low student-faculty ratio allows for more personal interaction and guidance within a community-minded setting.

  • Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce: The Clear Lake Area Chamber aims to promote business growth, educational excellence and community connections while fostering overall vitality and quality of life throughout the Clear Lake-Bay Area of Houston. This mission has been exemplified in Chamber-hosted events that have included business development seminars centered on multi-generational relationships, business and wellness expos, the Chamber's Taste of Spice event and holiday parades.


  • Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library: The Clear Lake City-County Branch Library is a joint facility of Harris County Public Library and the City of Houston. The branch regularly hosts children's programs—family story time, Maker Mondays—and will hold adult craft programs throughout the month of November. Open six days out of the week, Clear Lake City-County Branch Library caters to residents of all ages.

  • Clear Lake City Community Association: Amenities at the CLCCA, are open to the public. Anyone can purchase facility tags, use one of the association's amenities for a daily fee of $5, rent a room for a reception or other special event or attend a class. All residents receive a 20-percent discount on the listed price for any tag or class purchase. This local recreation center offers special-interest classes, year-round swimming, a fitness room and a gymnasium. The center's next, big event is its Fall Festival, which takes place Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
