Burglars Steal ATM From Santa Fe Gas Station, Police Said

Police are looking for the suspects who used a pickup to smash the front of a store and steal an ATM on Monday.

SANTA FE, TX — Police in Santa Fe are looking for the burglars who used a pickup truck to smash through the front of a convenience store to steal an ATM. The burglary happened at about 3 a.m. Monday at a Citgo gas station.

Police said the burglars used a white Ford pickup to crash through a front window and steal the ATM. Police later recovered the truck and what was left of the ATM at the Santa Fe Braves football field nearby.

The route that the suspects took appears to be west on Hwy 6 to Avenue T, then south to 19th St. Then the suspects drove east on 19th St to Avenue O then headed south to the Braves football field, police said.

Investigators believe the burglars had a second vehicle at the ball field, and fled fro the area after the burglary.

Anyone with information and/or video footage of the area which could be used to help identify the suspects, is asked to call Detective Tandy at the Santa Fe Police Department at 409-925-2000.
