City, County Offices In Harris County Closed Good Friday, Easter

HOUSTON — The Easter weekend is here and that means city and county offices throughout Harris County will be closed in observance of Good Friday, Passover and Easter.

This means municipal courts, county courts and other courts will be closed, as will other non-essential personnel offices. Friday is also an official holiday for school districts in Harris County and federal offices.

The following city, county offices, and school districts will be closed Friday:

• Pasadena
• South Houston
• Baytown
• Crosby
• Tomball
• Jersey Village
• West University Place
• Katy
• Deer Park
• Aldine
• Galena Park
• Jacinto City
• Nassau Bay
• La Porte
• Bellaire
• Webster
• Channelview
• Highlands
• Morgans Point

Schools

• Aldine ISD
• Alief ISD
• Channelview ISD
• Clear Creek ISD
• Crosby ISD
• Cypress-Fairbanks ISD
• Deer Park ISD
• Galena Park ISD
• Goose Creek CISD
• Houston ISD
• Humble ISD
• Klein ISD
• La Porte ISD
• Pasadena ISD
• Sheldon ISD
• Spring ISD
• Spring Branch ISD
• Harris County Department of Education (Special Education and alternative schools)

Essential personnel such as police, fire and EMS, along with area hospitals will operate on a regular schedule. Solid waste and recycling is expected to run normally this week.
